U.S. News & World Report Ranks Solheim Lutheran Home Among "Best Nursing Homes for 2013"

We're very pleased to announce that U.S. News & World Report has recently compiled a listing of the best Nursing Homes in the country, organized by State and Metropolitan Area and Solheim is rated among the best!  The newspaper did not do its own study to determine the "Best Nursing Homes," but instead used the criteria from the Center For Medicare Services website and their  "Star System."    Since Solheim currently possesses a maximum "5 Star" rating in quality measures, we appear on U.S. News & World Report's list of Best Nursing Homes for 2013.

  The Chosen

The Next Meeting of Solheim’s Book Club

will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 8th, 2013 in the M&M Room. We will discuss The Chosen by Chaim Potok.

First published in 1967, this novel is the now-classic story of two fathers and two sons and the pressures on all of them to pursue the religion they share in the way that is best suited to each. And as the boys grow into young men, they discover in the other a lost spiri- tual brother, and a link to an unexplored world that neither had ever considered before. In effect, they exchange places, and find the peace that neither will ever retreat from again.
